The Amber Rose Pub
From DevilshireWiki
The Amber Rose attracts both locals and visitors to town, its main clientele being the affluent, local and visiting businessmen and women, and those holding positions in the local government, whether its selectmen, the chief of police, the chief of the fire department, and many more town officials.
Opened in 1992 by the then 28 year old Victoria Devlin and named for her two daughters, it has since become a booming business and a local hot spot. Its best known quality is its beer, wine, and liquor selection. The most expensive bottle of wine is well into the three digits, though it is rumored that there may even be a few four digit ones just waiting for the right person (and wallet).
Its other attributes include a relaxed, comfortable, and friendly environment. All the furniture was bought with only comfort in mind, not skimping on the price tag. In winter, many people will sit in front of the large fireplace, and enjoying a rather impressive cup of hot, spiced hard apple cider.
A large High Def, flat screen TV, a recent purchase, is known to draw fans of just about every sport, in addition to the slightly smaller but still impressive one at the bar. The bar itself is staffed by a friendly crew of the young and the beautiful, which would explain the draw of the local University population.
It also contains a small stage with equipment for a house or visiting bands.
Employees
- Marley Moore - Marley is the head bartender at the Amber Rose. Though her people skills could use some work, she still is rather attractive, which makes her match most of the employees in at least that area.
- Maggie Ferguson (NPC) - Friendly! A redhead. Kind of slutty; it earns her tips.
- Nathan Mann (NPC) - Hapless.
