History
Phillip is a member of the illustrious Harget family, 28 years old, a graduate of Harvard and Dartmouth. In school, the shy, awkward boy was preceded by his social older brother's reputation, and rather tended to be overshadowed by him. He was in the same class at school as socialites Stephen and Kalush Moore, the latter having been just about his only friend in high school, and certainly his best. He's never dated anyone in town.
At eighteen, he went off to Harvard, which was the only Harget stereotype he fulfilled, not being particularly athletic, or popular, or smooth. He rarely came home once he left town, though he did attend Kalush's first wedding.
At twenty-seven, he came back home rather suddenly and immediately got work as a professor of Comparative Mythology courses at Devilshire University. Given his youth and lack of experience, it's easy to guess that the family name had something to do with his good fortune.
Phillip lives with his boyfriend Louis Laroche in the upstairs apartment of the former Valentine Medical building.
Personality
Phillip is nervous, earnest, socially awkward, warm-hearted, shy, and surprisingly strong-willed.

Friends & Family
Friends: Louis Laroche is Phillip's boyfriend, who lives with him. Since Beatrice moved out and Louis moved in, Phillip has seemed more well-adjusted in general, and a lot happier than he had been. Louis's common sense and handiness help balance Phillip's nervousness and intellectual approach.
Nick Gray (deceased) was Phillip's best (only) friend during his long stay in graduate school. He was brutally dismembered one night, leaving Phillip to find his ravaged body. Phillip believes the attack to have been related to a ring that Nick had recently acquired. A year ago, Phillip was desperately seeking to unravel the mystery and make the unseen forces pay, but now it seems he's all but given up...
Marley Moore scares the hell out of Phillip. He first met her when she knocked him down, and more or less every conversation they have feels like that all over again. She once pointed a gun at her head. He hasn't forgotten that!
Yvonne Monroe's immediate liking of Phillip, her sweet nature, and maybe even her unabashed extraversion have really grown on Phillip. He finds himself occasionally drawn into social situations by her hard-to-refuse invitations. She also has some very loveable canines.
Tim Truman is a student that Phillip has weathered quite a few mystical storms with. Phillip can trust him to help with supernatural incidents.
Family:
Chris Harget is Phillip's older brother. He is a politician, charming and put-together, a ladies' man, everything that Phillip has ever failed to be.
