Act One

Air
It's hard to tell what's wrong with the man from afar, but the front of his sherwani is slashed and there's black...something...splattered onto the side and down the leg of his pants. He's holding an arm tightly to him, pressing a hand against the wound. "When is here?" He asks, black flecks appearing on his lips. He then pauses as if he realizes that was incorrect and asks again with great strain, "Where is here?"

Director: Drynwyn

Summary: Spring is coming to Devilshire, and an afternoon of picnics and other recreation turns to dusk. A strangely-dressed man emerges from a sudden fog to deliver warnings of something coming and gives over part of a pendant for safekeeping before crumbling to ash and blowing away.

Act Two

Earth
As if in answer, the man collapses to his knees just a yard or so away from the group. He presses a large hand into the wood of the Boardwalk and lifts his previously bowed head to look at Emma and then Andrew when he is addressed. His look is quizzical. Like someone who does not entirely understand what has just been asked. His eyes are strange: a dark green. No pupil and no whites to speak of. Just green. "Maa...jaaree." he breathes out, voice so deep it rumbles.

Act Three

Water
The more words that are spoken in her direction, the more confused the woman looks, stumbling forward a step as more waves crash into the back of her legs. "There...be..there is? Small time. I am khatm. Done. I am done." She speaks hesitantly, as if the language really is new to her and it is heavily and strangely accented. "Mauth comes near this time. Possibility for--" she pauses, tasting the words before she says them. "Du'aa ends? Are you enough?"

Act Four

Fire
There's a strange light cast through the fog from the warning lights on top of the bridge. It flickers a little, casting weird red shadows. Footsteps as well, two very heavy ones can be heard as the strange shadow becomes a man standing around seven feet tall and wearing strange clothing emerging from the fog. Well, it's everywhere so he more just comes into view of those gathered. His skin is a ruddy red, black hair hidden under some sort of turban. His billowy pants are tucked into boots that curl at the tips like something from a bad Christmas movie and he has a curved sword at his hip. The thing that draws the most attention though, are his eyes. They seem to be living flames, licking up from the sockets to char his eyebrows black. "Danger." when he opens his mouth to speak, sparks issue from his tongue and smoke wafts from his lips.

Act Five

Wood
The tree instead sweeps its branch over the flame and ignites its branch. Leaves go up in smoke as the flames start to spread. Then it turns and slams its arm down on one of the shadows which disappears in a burst of smoke. ...The shadows, seeing one of their own go down, start chattering in a weird, piercing sort of language. Like nails on a chalkboard. And there's a large gust of wind that hits as one of the trees goes down in the assault, slamming into the ground.

Finale

Stone
There are skeletons here, stretched out across the floor and sitting upright against the walls. In the center of the room there is a splash of color, though. A bed made of silken pillows on the floor upon which a small, fragile looking woman rests. She is dressed in a bright yellow and pink sari and her long, dark hair has been left unbraided to trail over the pillows along the floor, dotted with dried flower petals. She seems to not be breathing, but she also doesn't appear to be dead.
