Overview
Berry's Newsstand is both a standard newsstand and a new and used book store, complete with tables and chairs for perusing, and a counter to accept trade-ins.
Description
The opening part of Berry's Newsstand is a newsstand, still. There's racks of magazines, and stacks of daily newspapers. But, once you walk further back, then come the books. There are vast amounts of books, both new and used, on the pine bookshelves that line the walls from floor to ceiling, and the pine bookcases in the middle of the room. The store takes up several storefronts, as if it started small and expanded. Several knots of chairs (all of the same green brocaded fabric) are placed around small tables, in various parts of the store, allowing patrons to peruse the books. A desk in the back accepts trade-ins. There are two information counters, as the inventory is all computerized, allowing for easy retrieval of books. The lighting in this store is easy on the eyes, but bright enough for easy reading.
