Alyson arrived in Devilshire in early June of 2008 to attend Devilshire University and take care of her Great-Aunt May. She takes a lot of pictures, some for PowR ChordZ's website. For money, even! She was briefly employed at Himdel's Dairy, was briefly a horrible waitress at The Penalty Box before it got set on fire, briefly a cashier at PowR ChordZ, briefly a seasonal employee elf at the mall, briefly employed Bob Swann's 'New to You' second-hand car dealership before an incident during a test drive, briefly held a job at Hamburger Town in the mall until she was 'let go' following cleanup from a particularly messy Big Belly burger eating contest, and a gas station attendant for a record three months. Currently, she works at S-Town Supermarket, but probably not for long.

Alyson has no supernatural abilities, which renders her absolutely useless in all things, especially fights. There is no value in characters who cannot fight! So don't pick Alyson for your team unless you need someone with a high notice skill or someone who can take pretty good pictures, and even then, at least get someone who can do all that and shoot lasers from their fingers or something, man.
Family
Aunt May: Alyson's Aunt May is actually her Great Aunt May, but it's just easier to call her 'Aunt May' and assume people will know she's old. Or awesome. Or both. Aunt May's started to go a little loopy, or at least that's what Alyson's family thinks. The old lady gets freaked out about some odd things, but Alyson being there to take care of her a little will hopefully help.
Parents: Alyson has parents. She writes them e-mails and such. They're not in Devilshire.
People Alyson's Talked To
Alyson encounters many citizens of Devilshire in her day to day activities. Because she is only human with nothing special about her, she will not influence the lives of these people in any way, shape, or form.
...For a While, About Actual Stuff
Tim Truman was the first non-Aunt May person Alyson talked to in Devilshire for any length of time. She's told him things she hasn't really discussed with anyone else and he was her go-to guy when she was bitten by a vampire and hella freaked out about it. Alyson is unaware Tim once claimed to have slept with her, which is probably a good thing. Alyson is also unaware that Tim is Hell's bounty hunter, which may or may not be a good thing, but will certainly be a horrible, horrible surprise one day.
...For More Than Five Minutes
- Amria talks. A lot. All the time. She likes photography, though, and she has a better camera than Alyson, which is kind of annoying. Also, she talks a lot.
- Donny is a musician who facilitated Aly's eating of delicious cake. He also works at PowR ChordZ.
- Joe Marino is a plumber who sometimes stops by the Penalty Box and doesn't seem to mind that Alyson is a crappy waitress. He's a funny enough guy. If he turns out to be a demon or a vampire or something Alyson's going to be very disappointed.
- Marley is Tim's ex and a total bitch. No wonder Tim's depressed. Marley thinks Alyson is a whore or something, which Aly takes offence to for some strange reason. Marley also saved her during a vampire attack, though, so Alyson has to be thankful for that. Also, Marley is a fucking ninja or something. What the hell?
- Rabbit is another nice guy who's been helpful with regards to Alyson learning more about the occult. He also gave her more holy water and a silver crucifix, and while he warned her the best thing she can do is run, he at least wasn't a prick about it.
- Scout does Tarot readings; Alyson saw she and her brother could use the cash, so she asked Scout to do one for her. Scout appears to be a decent human being, which Alyson likes. That and Scout at least takes her seriously about her questions and doesn't immediately write her off as incapable.
- Sebastian thinks gaje don't know what 'gaje' means, or he doesn't care. Also, he's sexist. Alyson did not particularly like him 'til he checked up on her after she got bitten by a vampire and told her it was okay to be racist against vampires. Alyson is okay with douchebags with redeeming qualities. She knows his secret! He writes poetry. Werewolf whatnow?
- Zach tried to help an upset girl in Free Expressions, which earned him brownie points. He also let her root through the Amber Rose's lost and found box far too long.
...For Less Than Five Minutes
- Amy Nichols knows something about fighting vampires but is possibly extremely short bus.
- Beatrice is kind of fancy.
- Bob Swann sold Alyson a car! And then hired her later. And then fired her after a disastrous test drive scenario.
- Claire Swann has the self-esteem of a smooshed peanut, but is generally nice. She should try not to get kidnapped or dead.
- Leona is someone Alyson sees around from time to time; the one-armed girl is also interested in photography. Also, she's run into vampires.
...Never Ever, And Who May Not Even Exist
- Santa Claus is a large, jolly elf who brings children presents for Christmas if they have been good.
- The Tooth Fairy mugs you for your teeth.
